Lauren approached us to create a brand and online shop for her new brand, Gift Smith. Gift Smith is built around what gifting really does, it creates connection. It’s not just the products, it’s the moment. A shared feeling between giver and receiver that says you matter. The logo is a subtle nod to that moment. Inspired by the view of a gift box being opened, the mark uses a grid of linear forms to represent the hand-picked objects inside. It’s thoughtful and intentional, just like the brand.

Gift Smith creates high quality, beautiful gift boxes made in collaboration with local businesses. Underneath the Gift Smith brand is the Honest brand, which produces and exclusively stocks Gift Smith with a wide range of preserves, pantry staples and baked goods. We designed the Honest logo to be understated and minimal, letting the products shine.
